Eye care for children
Children’s eyes develop quickly, and finding problems early protects their vision for life. Our optometrists create a friendly, relaxed setting that helps children feel comfortable during their exam. We check for common childhood conditions, including:
- Refractive errors: short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism.
- Amblyopia (lazy eye).
- Strabismus: when the eyes are not aligned.
- Visual development problems: including vision issues that affect learning.
For children whose short-sightedness is getting worse, we also offer myopia control lenses.
Eye care for older adults
As we get older, our eyes need closer attention. We focus on preventing, detecting and managing age-related eye conditions such as:
- Cataracts
- Glaucoma
- Macular degeneration
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Dry eye
We provide thorough assessments, treatment and ongoing monitoring to protect your sight and quality of life, and we refer you to an eye surgeon when a condition such as a cataract needs surgery.
